By using HelpMeWrite ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using HelpMeWrite, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

HelpMeWrite is an AI-powered email writing tool that generates professional email drafts for various professions. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for professional communication assistance only.

3. Account responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use HelpMeWrite to:

• Generate spam, phishing, or deceptive emails
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Subscription and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods

6. Free trial

New accounts receive 3 free email generations. Free trial emails do not roll over and cannot be transferred between accounts.

7. Intellectual property

Emails generated by HelpMeWrite are yours to use freely for any professional purpose. HelpMeWrite retains no ownership over generated content. Our platform, design, and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of HelpMeWrite.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

HelpMeWrite uses AI to generate email drafts. All generated content should be reviewed before sending. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content for your specific situation. Always review emails before sending, particularly for legal, medical, or financial communications.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelpMeWrite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law.
