This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use HelpMeWrite and its AI email generation services. By using HelpMeWrite, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Permitted uses

HelpMeWrite is designed for legitimate professional communication. You may use HelpMeWrite to:

• Generate professional emails for your own business or professional use
• Communicate with clients, customers, colleagues, prospects, and business partners
• Create email templates and drafts for review and personalisation before sending
• Assist with routine professional correspondence across the supported professions
• Generate emails on behalf of your employer or clients with appropriate authorisation

2. Prohibited uses

You must not use HelpMeWrite to generate emails for any of the following purposes:

2.1 Spam and unsolicited email

• Sending bulk unsolicited commercial email (spam) to recipients who have not opted in
• Building or operating email lists without recipient consent in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other applicable laws
• Circumventing email service provider spam filters

2.2 Deception and fraud

• Phishing emails designed to steal credentials, financial information, or personal data
• Impersonating another person, company, or organisation without authorisation
• Creating fraudulent invoices, contracts, or financial documents
• Misleading recipients about the nature, origin, or purpose of an email
• Business email compromise (BEC) attacks or any form of wire fraud

2.3 Harassment and harm

• Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or abusing individuals
• Stalking or unwanted contact after a recipient has asked to stop receiving emails
• Discriminatory communications based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Content designed to cause emotional distress or psychological harm

2.4 Illegal activities

• Any communication that facilitates or promotes illegal activity
• Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Violating intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or trade secret law
• Communications related to the sale of controlled substances, weapons, or other regulated goods without appropriate authorisation

2.5 Misuse of the platform

• Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or replicate HelpMeWrite's AI prompts or system architecture
• Using HelpMeWrite to train, fine-tune, or build competing AI models
• Accessing HelpMeWrite through automated means (bots, scripts) beyond what is expressly permitted by our API terms
• Sharing account credentials or allowing multiple users to share a single account
• Circumventing usage limits through the creation of multiple free accounts

2.6 Misinformation

• Generating and distributing deliberate misinformation or disinformation
• Creating fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
• Producing content designed to manipulate public opinion through coordinated inauthentic behaviour

3. AI-generated content responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending. HelpMeWrite generates draft emails as a writing aid — you are the sender of record and bear full responsibility for the content of emails you send using our platform.

Always review generated emails for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with any professional regulations applicable to your field (including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, and real estate regulations).

4. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any use of HelpMeWrite that violates this policy, please report it to us at hello@helpmewrite.email. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

5. Consequences of violations

We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response to violations of this AUP:

• Issue a warning and request immediate cessation of the prohibited activity
• Temporarily suspend your account pending investigation
• Permanently terminate your account without refund
• Report violations to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities
• Pursue legal action where appropriate

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of HelpMeWrite after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
